Westward bound again!

We are very excited to travel west again to explore more of our amazing National Parks. If all goes as planned this trip will complete our quest to visit all of our National Parks in the contiguous 48 (except two islands where we couldn't get ferry rides, lol.

We are so happy to be able to do this trip after Jerry unexpectedly fractured his femur skiing January 15th, ending our 2026 ski season and 3 planned ski trips with dear friends. We are so thankful Jerry healed enough to be able to make this dream trip happen. We invite you to follow along wirh us.

Here is the last corner of our National Park map.you can see the few open (darker) trees we have left to fill in.

Here is a link to our RV Parky App so you can follow along.

In true form our first night was a pass through stop at a Cracker Barrel so Jerry could have his pot roast craving!
Our first stop was a couple of precious days with our dear dear friend and old neighbor Yvonne Cutler in Tennessee.
Each time we gather it is like no time has passed.

3 more days crossing west to our next visit in New Mexico. A few memorable  food stops and and a somewhat threatening tornado scare along the way.
Had the best Indian Rogan Josh for lunch in this unassuming strip mall. So so yummy.
Didn't any storm pics. Some high winds and a little hail
Luckily it moved through more quickly than predicted and we are out of harms way.

Driving though Texas and into New Mexico it continues to amaze me how vast the west is . miles of trains, plains, wind mills, ranches and grain silos the size of skyscrapers!!

Stopped at a local market and I got WARM tortillas and NM vitals foe home!!! In my happy place!!

Camping at Oasis State Park. 77 degrees. Happiness abounds.

Dinner of salmon, broccoli sald and baked potato. A nice break from heavy travel food.
Beautiful sunset in the NM desert!! Off to Deming NM tomorrow to visit a mutual old friend.
